TEDx speaker, US Army veteran, certified life coach, and 18-year corporate leader. April helps high-achieving leaders audit the inner voice they were told to trust, and turn examined authenticity into a performance advantage.
April Martini is the authenticity expert for high-achieving leaders. A TEDx speaker, US Army veteran, and certified life coach, she spent six years in the Army, including a deployment to Baghdad and a post on the personal staff of the Chief of Staff of the United States Army at the Pentagon, followed by eighteen years of corporate leadership in tech and manufacturing.
She was also the first person in her family to graduate college, after a childhood spent in and out of foster care. For three decades she outperformed a wound she could not see. Ten years of examining it changed how she leads and how she teaches others to.
In her keynote The Examined Leader, April challenges one of the most repeated instructions in leadership today, "trust your inner voice," and offers a curiosity-based framework for telling genuine intuition apart from conditioned reaction. She works privately with a small number of leaders who are ready to find the pattern running their decisions.
